Evening friends.
We have one final selection of photos from the early part of 2020 leading up to what would have been our 13th birthday on May 5th.
Amazing to think how much took place between January 2020 and when we had to close the doors in March.
When we went into lockdown, things were postponed or cancelled, we went quiet and the venue shut down. Like everyone else we had to move quickly and organise working from home, work out how to keep operating. We got busy adapting some of our projects and making some changes, things were and are going to be very different for a while.
Since going into lockdown we have been so touched by the kindness, generosity and positivity of our friends and supporters, and we have endless admiration for the irrepressible spirit of musicians, our partners, participants and audiences.
We are still working some things out so please bear with us while we do, but thanks for your support and understanding so far, it has really helped.
We toyed with a blank photo to demonstrate the silence and the venue being closed since March but the thing is we’ve managed to stay connected and that is the important thing.
Nothing will ever beat the atmosphere of a live event but we can stay connected, share music, experiences, memories and new ideas.
Thanks again for indulging Oh Yeah on its 13-year photo journey. So many memories, moments, lovely people and brilliant music, it was nice to look back.
We’ve some more projects and people to celebrate in the coming weeks including all the great people based in our building, so look out for that.
Cheers again, from all at Oh Yeah.
