Charity Bowls Day Dec 2019

Thank you to everyone who joined our Charity Bowls Day on Sunday 1st December!
It was a magic day raising money for Pat Thomas House (Women’s & Children’s Refuge) for their Christmas Appeal.
Even with a few lastminute teams cancelling, we still had a great group of 52 people who did a whole lot of fundraising! We’re so thankful for our amazing patrons & sponsors who dug deep to support the women & children at Pat Thomas house this Christmas.

About the cause: Although they do receive some government support, Pat Thomas House do not receive funding or supplies for children.
With Christmas around the corner, these kids are not only escaping the trauma of a domestic violence, they also go without gifts from Santa & the simple pleasure of a typical Christmas family meal.
All proceeds of the charity bowls day will go towards buying Christmas gifts for children and food hampers for the mother’s & kids. All remaining funds will be for Pat Thomas House to purchase essentials & comfort items for kids at the refuge.
So, drum roll please.....
With your help $6,582 was raised for Pat Thomas House :D

With that & our latest fundraiser for Legacy WA, we’ve actually surpassed $150,000 for fundraising for LOCAL charity & community groups. Well done to every single one of you who has supported through our bowls day excursions, meat raffles & ticket auctions over the years – your contributions, big & small, have helped local charities assist this amazing community.
