Yaxu for All Crews Weekender

Yaxu is Alex McLean, a live coding powerhouse and developer of the TidalCycles Softwear he uses to perform live coded music as Yaxu. He is the founder of AlgoMech Festival of Mechanical Music and Art in Sheffield ( which is an excellent festival ) and co founder of the Algorave movement. He’s one of the busiest ( and nicest ) people we know. Always exploring and working on new work with a dedication to coding and spreading its accessibility that’s hugely inspiring. Alex performs a 30 minute Live Coded set for us, giving you a window into this sound and process.
