Growing up, Nikolai had an open ear for music, listening to all types of genres from hip-hop to rock. Aspiring to create pop music with indie folk influence, he wrote his first single "Paperhearts", a soulful ballad which was re-released on 25 June 2018. His past notable gigs include Singapore Tatler Dining (Best Restaurant Award 2017/2018), Little Petas Fund Raiser for The Children Cancer Society, and #THEPILOTPROJECT at Scape.
