Born in Tbilisi, Georgia and raised internationally, Sophia Saze found in Brooklyn the perfect home to dive deeper into her work by launching her party (and label since 2017) Dusk & Haze.
Beginning a creative journey in her formative years with classical music and dance training, Sophia Saze would later become engulfed by electronic dance music.
Here, Sophia Saze shares her video diaries from her year in lockdown, soundtracked with her vocal notes in Georgian, her mother tongue, and recordings of her classical piano. A retrospective piece, looking back to an introspective year that would become the inspiration behind her T30 track “Curtains”.
