He said: “I wrote the song in a really grateful headspace. After not seeing or spending time with my favourite people for so long, being with them again reminded me just how much it means to be loved, and to give that love back. It took about 30 seconds to write — once I felt that feeling I knew exactly what I wanted to say.”
