We’ve been blown away in the office today listening to the music and videos from At Last - The Etta James Story. Here’s a snippet. This is more than a tribute, it’s a 2 hour narrative concert in which Vika tells the highs and lows of Etta’s stories, intercut with phenomenal performances from her and the Essential R&B Band. The world premiere was in Melbourne in 2013 and since then has packed theatres throughout Australia and New Zealand. In 2017 At Last – The Etta James Story toured the UK, selling out theatres in London, Liverpool, Manchester and across the country, receiving 5 star reviews and multiple standing ovations wherever it played.
