The Ampere Talent Search Deejay winner Morgan Abend with his 1h performance that made him stand out & claim the first spot.

What struck us, were the very tight mixes and the knowledge and vision of how a mix should sound, making his records serve the mix and the story, where his tracks suddenly become a tool instead of a tune. His handling of the EQ, the structure and tension of his musical vision seems to come together like a flock of starlings performing a synchronous air ballet with the setting of the sun and the moon as a backdrop. Would Esher have sounded like this if he had become a DJ instead of a draftsman?
