It’s the final countdown! 30 days ago I decided to embark into the unknown with this @kickstarter journey. Now, “Brooklyn is Burning” is 70% funded with 3 days to go! This is our final push, and we need your help to make it happen.
To me this is a political film told from the point of view of a once thriving music scene. I decided to do the Kickstarter because I feel the story is happening right now, and the state of music is changing in real time. If we wait, we might lose the story! We live in weird times and I refuse for this era to be “the new” normal; I remember last fall, going to shows, swimming in a sea of bodies enjoying all my favorite bands with all my friends. Now it’s all gone. I hope you feel the same way I do, and can help us tell this story —as open ended as it could be. I’m humbled by your appreciation and support. I will be eternally thankful.
