Im Feuilleton wird er u.a. als der Christus der experimentellen Musik bezeichnet. Experimentell hier im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, denn die norwegischen Brüder Sturle und Sjur führen in ihrem Live Instrumentarium u.a. die Volkszither, eine chinesische Guzheng, eine afrikanische Kalimba, eine Mbira aus Simbabwe, ein Marxophone, eine armenische Duduk, eine Nyckelharpa und ein speziell angefertigtes Ziegenhorn.
Ihr Debütalbum haben sie quer durch Europa aufgenommen: in einer abgelegenen Hütte in den norwegischen Bergen, in einem verlassenen Industriekomplex in Russland, auf einem sowjetischen Marineschiff, in einem Leuchtturm in der Nordsee und mit Schlittenhunden im ewigen Eis.
Was dabei herauskommt findet sich stilistisch irgendwo zwischen Björk, Sun O))) und Death Grips wieder.
