💔 We are shook and broken after hearing of the passing of Kali last weekend. We've been at a loss for words all week.

As many of you know, Kali's work with the San Francisco Black Film Festival was one of his true passions.
In 2018, Kali created an amazing 6-part series about the history of The Boom Boom Room that expertly captures the magic that is San Francisco's funkiest club.
This Chuck Palahniuk quote appeared at the bottom of all of Kali's emails:
"We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will."
You did that, brother. You did that.
