✊🏽✊🏿NEW PUBLIC BAR LIVE + SAUF HAUS TEES ✊🏼✊🏾 are available for purchase (currently in person only) for $30, with a portion of the proceeds going to the @denversmithfoundation, a non-profit dedicated to honor the life and legacy of Denver Smith, a black college student murdered 47 years ago by police officers during a peaceful protest for civil rights and a curriculum inclusive of the modern black experience.
We are also excited to work with the foundation and its #CRE8CHANGE campaign to install a mural here at Public Bar Live next week, which will allow us to share our business' stance in supporting social movements fighting against inequality.
#CRE8CHANGE is an initiative of the Denver Smith Foundation, designed to bring together a collective of liberated designers, artisans, craftsmen and creative geniuses who believe in using creative expression to uplift communities who have faced injustice and the movements support them.
For us, these are more than simple symbolic gestures. Our venues aim not only to honor black history and culture, but to actually listen, learn and fight for those whose voices and freedoms continue to be abridged.
