Founded in DC in 1970, RAP (Regional Addiction Prevention), Inc. is a not-for-profit behavioral health program serving adults battling addiction and mental illness. Their clients deal with a broad range of struggles: addiction, homelessness, mental health issues, trauma, poverty and incarceration. On any given day, RAP serves upwards of 80 residents on campus – on top of those they serve in their outpatient programs.
RAP provides:
Detox (withdrawal management) and crisis management.
Medical care.
Community behavioral health assessment and referral.
Individual & group substance use disorder and mental health counseling.
Case management and care coordination services.
