It is with extreme pleasure and excitement to announce some fun news!

When Ian and I started Gravy Train, it was out of desperation to sustain our businesses and, of course, musicians.

The support locally has been astounding! But we realized that we could be contributing financially to independent food providers and breweries as well as the musician friends we have been cultivating for 17 years...ELSEWHERE. The only barrier is the willingness of our musician friends to host a Gravy Train of their own, wherever they are in Canada.

We are proud to announce the first Hamilton Gravy Train, going out this Saturday! Derek (a.k.a. Ray Whimsey) is the guy who started Open Mic Surgery at Phog Lounge back in 2004. Came up with the name and everything!Fast forward to today, and he owns an incredible bar in Hamilton called The Capitol Bar. So he’s going to be the musician, and the food provider this time around!

We are so stoked to partner with Derek, The Capitol Bar and Clifford Brewing Co. to bring food, beer and live music to the doorsteps of our friends in The Hammer!

Gravy Trains will be in several cities across Canada in the coming weeks, contributing to the financial well-being of the musicians who have given to Phog Lounge and Meteor over the years, as well as people who grind in the independent food and beverage world. in their respective provinces and cities.

Genuinely, we could not be happier about being able to do this! Your willingness to share is GREATLY appreciated! We’d love to have a Windsor fingerprint on the cultural survival of some of the people we respect most in Canada.
