New Year's Eve Boot Drop & Food Drive at The Maverick

In New York Times Square, the New Year’s begin with the drop of the Ball. In Tucson, we start our New Year tradition with the drop of the "Monster Cowboy Boot.”

On December 31st, at sunset, the "Monster Cowboy Boot" is lifted by a massive crane high over the patio of Tucson’s legendary live Country Music Club, The Maverick, in celebration of our annual food drive for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.

Then, at 11:55PM, on New Year's Eve, the Monster Cowboy Boot slowly descends to ring in 2019.

The event and donation collection begins at 10AM on December 31st and continues until 2AM on New Year’s Day with "Stuff the Monster Truck" in front of The Maverick, 6622 East Tanque Verde Road, Tucson, AZ.
