Are we going to continue our former 'way of life, in which destruction of nature, structural inequality, and exploitation are rampant? Or do we consider this crisis a sign that real change is long overdue? Isnโt this exactly the right time to envision a better future and to devise new strategies for getting there?
In this fourth and final edition of New Activism we want to get the conversation started about how to emerge better from this crisis. As the pandemic exposes the destructiveness of modern society and the vulnerability of life, we need to move forward with new ideas and new ideals. To activists itโs long been clear that we need system change. This is now more important than ever.
We'll be taking up this question with writer and radical thinker Willem Schinkel, and three independent activists at the forefront of today's major social movements. Moderator Vatan Hรผzeir.
