Enter, Laura King. This little number has been making nothing but waves around Melbourne over the last 12 months, we are proud to call her family and have her on board to bring the heat for us in the late hours of Sunday morning.
Conjuring up a mixed bag of treats for every appearance she makes, it is the careful curation of sound and extensive knowledge of underground music dating back decades that gives her that signature touch. From ghetto underground vocals, to groovy baselines, thumping kicks and old-school trance - this lady is truly in a league of her own!
She holds some of the standout sets of the silly season 17/18 by far including the closure of Recovery Collective x Babylon Festival Halfway House on the Saturday night, closing out Euphorie Bezirk's Disco 2000 Melbourne edition and a stellar performance at the revered Piknic Électronik Melbourne.
We are quite excited for what Laura has got planned for us, our new space and the monster rig.
