With MONO as our home base, (A)WAKE creates space for nuanced voices and polyphonous perspectives. We are working towards a two to four-year (cultural) program, with the context of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and her diaspora as our starting point and playfully move in-between the digital-, youth and counterculture as artistic domains. Our programs are aimed at creating more space(s) for the so-called ‘in between’ — individuals who move easily between cultures, socio-classes, subcultures and ideas.
As our ambitions grow, so is our collective. We are therefore looking for a creative, talented and driven part-time designer trainee to support our team. Preference will be given to a designer with MENA-roots. You will be challenged with a variety of creative projects while having space for your own initiatives. This position is available from September 2020 and will be at least until the end of February. However, we are open to building up a long-term relationship.
