Ancien clavériste de La Roux, Fort Romeau s’émancipe en solo depuis 2012 avec un talent certain, creusant les sillons d’une House parfois Deep, parfois Disco, mais toujours innovante. Preuves en sont ses sorties sur Ghostly International, Spectral ou Live At Robert Johnson, avec lesquelles l’artiste s’est forgé un style qui lui est propre, entre Deep new-yorkaise, House de Chicago et groove entêtant. Un petit joyau britannique qui partagera la scène avec une autre perle, en provenance d’Italie cette fois, Fango, référencé par Michael Mayer comme «the hottest thing in the 4/4 business right now»!
