Poetic Inspirations

Gallery Opening

(6:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
Work on display until Jan 23rd
“Reading poetry is like undressing before a bath. You don't undress out of fear that your clothes will become wet. You undress because you want the water to touch you. You want to completely immerse yourself in the feeling of the water and to emerge anew.”
― Kamand Kojouri
Our artists have taken to the written word for inspiration, from poetry, to songs, to short stories. All artwork on the wall will be displayed along with its written inspiration! Some written by the artists themselves, and others that simply inspired them to create! Head to The Deep End of Deep Ellum and immerse yourself in their creativity, and find the perfect piece of art for you!
Get the first look and chance to purchase one of their works along our 50 ft gallery wall with projection mapping on opening night before they are available on the web for sale, and speak with the attending artists about their work and inspirations! Don’t forget to take in a drink from our 31 tap selection at our 55ft long bar while attending, and stay after the opening to enjoy music to follow! There is no better way to kick start your weekend!
