HELP SAVE VU AND EARTH.
Today we relaunch our joint crowdfunder with EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) to try and protect the existence of both venues so that we are to resume business and employment when operating becomes feasible. We want to protect the long term livelihoods of our teams, and also to be part of a future for arts and music in London.
We are searching high and low for other ways to generate money. VU is currently trialling use as secure cycle parking, and we welcome the government support packages for the arts although this is still unclear how we will benefit from this. Unfortunately nothing we can find to do at the moment is enough or covers our lost income, so we are calling upon you to donate anything you can to help save VU and EartH.
We’re excited to announce that we have a new reward system, which includes a £10 raffle ticket for prizes, a chance to have a BBQ on our famous rooftop, sponsoring an artist to use our Holywell Lane street art wall for your message and so much more.
