THE BUSKAS are a four-piece acoustic ensemble obsessed with the soulful folk music of eastern Europe. Taking a mostly-traditional approach to Klezmer and Balkan tunes, with a little tango, gypsy swing, and jazz to connect the cross-cultural dots. Bringing music from the old country to our desert home, intertwining the inherently beautiful, dark melodies with a high energy rhythm section to bring those distinctive dance rhythms to life.
