BEDFORDS BAR FUTURE HANGS IN THE BALANCE, DON'T BE SILENT
We have stayed away from Facebook for several weeks because of the vile trolls who have attacked me, my family, my business and my dedicated team of staff.
Today we fight back for the future of Bedfords Bar and our loyal friends and customers.
We have received hundreds of messages of support from people of all walks of life who have been part of Bedfords for the last 7 years and have been entertained in some way within one of the safest venue's in the City, we are truly humbled by this.
We think it is important that the truth behind our current situation is told but this cannot happen without the help from each and everyone of you.
We have started to receive many letters of support at the bar from our customers who are incensed by the way we have been treated by both the Council and the press.
If you compare what happened at Bedfords to what's happened across the UK in many other bars and restaurants you will see for yourselves how harsh and unjust the council's decision was.
There have been 100's of covid breach's across the UK with many happening during Lockdown, deliberate breach's of covid rules where landlord's and business owners have blatantly broken the rules but not one of them has lost their licence to trade, apart from two businesses in Norwich. That in itself seems very odd to us.

We need the Council to understand that this was an isolated incident and that as a business we have done everything asked of us by the government to trade covid safe.
You can share this post, leave a comment (unless you are a troll) and get behind us as we prepare to go to appeal, I can't stress enough how big the mountain is we have to climb to get this decision overturned and get the council working with us as a small independent family run business instead of trying to destroy us.
