Friday June 29th : Lauren Laverne's 'Great Northern Soundtrack' @ Sage Gateshead : World HQ Club 25th Anniversary Concert.
We've been invited to play the Sage as part of the Great Exhibition of the North. So we've teamed up with our chums, the 'Voices of Virtue' Gospel Choir, to bring one of our famous live Motown & Soul Revues, to the Sage on a Friday evening in June.
It's brand new, live Motown & Soul Revue, with this full on Gospel Choir / band / horn section / alongside Tommy, performing all the classic Soul hits he's picked out specially for the show.
We're celebrating 25 years of World Headquarters as the city's #1 Underground Club. It's smack in the middle of the GEN, with fountains going off on the river etc & warm Summer's night vibes, so you can expect this show to be way more than just a bit special...!!
